Betsson acquires Betsafe

Betsson AB, an online gaming company listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm (Mid Cap), acquires Betsafe, a private gaming company based on Malta, offering sports betting, casino and poker to clients primarily in the Nordic countries.

Gernandt & Danielsson advised Betsson in the transaction. The transaction and regulatory teams were led by partners Manfred Löfvenhaft and Ola Wiklund. They were assisted by partner Krister Skoog. The teams consisted of associates Rolf Larsson, Malin Persson, Gustav Skogö, Johanna Kjellqvist, Jessica Levin and Susanna Eneteg.
