On 1 February 2008, GEMed AB, indirectly jointly owned by GTECH Corporation and Medströms AB, announced a public cash offer to the shareholders in Boss Media AB (publ). The total value of the offer amounts to approximately SEK 1,4 billion.
By the end of the acceptance period on 27 February 2008, shareholders in Boss Media holding approximately 93 per cent of the shares and the votes had accepted the offer. The offer was declared unconditional 3 March 2008.
