G&D advised Sony Corporation in connection with its acquisition of Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson’s 50% stake in the parties’ mobile telephone joint venture - Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB - to the value of EUR 1.05 billion.
The transaction, which has also included transfers and licensing of various Intellectual Property-rights, was completed as of 15 February 2012 and makes Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony.
