Gernandt & Danielsson represents Pernod Ricard in the trademark transaction.
On 31 March 2009, after approval by the European Commission, the sale was concluded of French Pernod Ricard S.A’s Swedish, Danish and Finnish subsidiaries’ (V&S) businesses conducted under the trademarks Star Dry Gin, Red Port and Dry Anis to Ratos’ subsidiary Arcus-Gruppen AS.
The trademarks are all market leading in their respective product categories in Sweden and Finland, respectively. Gernandt & Danielsson has represented Pernod Ricard in the transaction through Dick Lundqvist, Fredrik Palm, Pontus Scherp, Rolf Larsson, Carolina Hertzen, Leo Lee, Corinne Ekman and Teodor Hanson.
