Gernandt & Danielsson acts as legal advisor to Segulah/Medstop in connection with the acquisition of 62 pharmacies located in the metropolitan areas.
Medstop Holding AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Segulah IV L.P., has entered a sale and purchase agreement with Apoteket AB regarding three companies holding in total 62 pharmacies in the regions of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. The acquired pharmacies have a total turnover of SEK 3.1 billion and approximately 1,000 employees.
The takeover of the acquired pharmacies is expected to take place in January 2010, after, inter alia, approvals from the Swedish Competition Authority and the Medical Product Agency.
