VLT AB (publ) has acquired 66.7 per cent of Söndagsavisen’s shares in the Gratistidningar i Sverige AB group. The agreement also includes an arrangement that VLT AB (publ) shall acquire the remaining 33.3 per cent of the shares by the turn of the year 2010/2011.
Gratistidningar i Sverige AB is a Swedish newspaper publisher, which publishes newspaper on a weekly basis, with a weekly number of one million copies per week. The transaction also includes the distribution company S-Post AB. The annual turnover in 2007 was SEK 333 million and the operating profit SEK 39 million.
